Biography

Victoria Arsenicos is a New York–based violist, violinist, and music educator. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Performance with concentrations in violin and viola from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, CUNY, and Advanced Certificate in Music Education K–12.

At Queens College, Victoria served in leadership roles including Concertmaster, Principal Second Violin, and Principal Viola, experiences that shaped her collaborative approach to music-making. She has been recognized with Third Place in the Aaron Copland School of Music Bach Competition and multiple academic and music scholarships.

Victoria has taught string orchestra in both elementary and high school settings and maintains a private studio teaching violin, viola, and piano to students in grades K–12. Her teaching emphasizes strong technique, confidence, and musical independence while preparing students for school ensembles, NYSSMA evaluations, and advanced youth orchestras.

She is a founding string quartet member, violist, and secretary of Vox Feminarum NYC, an organization dedicated to performing works by living female composers, and has appeared in performances at Carnegie Hall. She has also performed with the New York Youth Symphony Orchestra and served as a counselor at the Meadowmount School of Music.

Victoria is an active member of NAfME, NYSSMA, SCMEA, LISFA, the American Viola Society, Maestra, and Vox Feminarum.
